Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking a full-time Recruitment and Retention Coordinator at our Dartmouth Nova Scotia or Moncton New Brunswick location. The successful candidate will use dynamic problem-solving, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude to support our Recruitment and Retention strategies throughout our business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the recruiting process for various employment groups including:
• Advertising
• Conducting pre-screening calls and on-site/virtual interviews
• Background/qualification verification
• Coordinating pre-employment testing
• Reviewing pre-hire documentation etc.
• Plan and attend recruitment open houses (within COVID-19 restrictions)
• Conduct employee exit interviews
• Develop and implement internal programs related to employee career development, retention, and engagement
• Participate and coordinate employee engagement and retention activities
• Participate and attend industry networking events as required
• Assist with the completion of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Assist with the coordination of new-hire onboarding and training
• Provide administrative support within the Human Resources department
• Assist in special projects
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years within a similar role or applicable post-secondary education considered an asset
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - verbal and written
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
