Logistics Coordinator - Warehouse

Armour Transportation is looking for a Logistics Coordinator - Warehouse based out of our St. John’s, NL location.  

Position Overview: We are seeking a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to act as the primary liaison between warehouse customers and the warehouse operations team. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure seamless account management using our warehouse management system (LOGIMAX-WMS). You will troubleshoot discrepancies, generate performance reports, and coordinate carrier appointments to optimize service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point of contact and coordinator between warehouse customers and the warehouse team.
  • Enter and or review all inbound receipts and outbound shipments in our warehouse management system (LOGIMAX-WMS).
  • Verify inbound receipts and outbound shipments against warehouse tallies and WMS.
  • Work with customers and the warehouse to troubleshoot differences and issues when they arise.
  • Create reports and manage accounts in our WMS.
  • Coordinate carrier appointments and prioritize account service with the warehouse group.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for all finalized orders.
  • Investigate inventory differences in coordination with the warehouse team.
  • Provide accurate reports to manage service levels and evaluate account performance.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving within the unit.
  • Create, update, and follow account notes to manage customer accounts successfully.

 

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and proven organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be attentive to detail.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced office and warehouse environment.
  • Be comfortable adapting to change and working with new technology in a learning environment.
  • Good collaborator and can implement/influence change.
  • May be required to occasionally work non-standard hours (evening/weekend) for inventory or project-based staff coverage.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year related work experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is considered an asset.
  • Comfortable with data entry.
