Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking a Gatekeeper (NIGHTS) to join our team in Moncton, NB. This position is responsible for effectively and efficiently controlling the flow of traffic in and out of the terminal yard(s) through operation of the gate control system, including the communication of data/information to applicable departments
Shift - 7pm to 7am 2/2/3 schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet inbound and outbound drivers at gates
- Always obtain the driver's tractor and trailer number
- Ask probing questions regarding the customer requirements for the delivery, refer to checklist for specific information related to the freight
- Ensure loads have correct seals
- Dispatch support when required
- Based upon customer systems and other sources, prepare paperwork for inbound deliveries / freight
- Additional duties as assigned including but not limited to Loading Truck and Data entry work

- High volumes of electronic correspondence, i.e., satellite, phone, email
- High volumes of Customer and Driver correspondence
