Armour Transportation Systems is looking for a Manifester based out of our Moncton, NB location.
Position Overview: The Manifester is responsible for accurately manifesting, communicating, and controlling the flow of Interliner freight to ensure seamless operations. This role involves documenting load quality, verifying and reviewing paperwork, and monitoring freight exceptions to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The Manifester plays a critical role in coordinating with dispatch, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining data integrity for freight movements.
Shift Schedule:
- 12:30 AM – 9:00 AM (Monday – Friday)
- Sunday start time: 9:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:

Freight Manifesting & Documentation:
- Manifest Ontario LTL freight from CCT with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure receipt and verification of the daily release email from CCT regarding unit readiness and scanned manifests.
- Complete CCT’s trip and manifest in a timely and accurate manner and immediately notify Ontario Dispatch upon completion.
- Track all Bills of Lading (BOLs) scanned by CCT in Truckmate, cross-referencing them with Armour’s freight bill numbers.

Operational Coordination & Communication:
- Maintain ongoing communication with the CCT shift clerk to resolve concerns related to TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods), missing documentation, or other discrepancies.
- Monitor and report on all priority freight movements, both inbound and outbound, ensuring high-priority shipments are managed effectively.
- Document and track Interliner “freight no bills” and “split” shipments for trend analysis and operational improvement.

Load Auditing & Compliance:
- Scan and index Interliner manifests while documenting Over, Short & Damaged (OS&D) freight notations.
- Conduct regular load quality audits, ensuring that images are captured, downloaded, and indexed for improved freight tracking and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and verify Dicom’s EDI transmissions, escalating any discrepancies or transmission failures promptly.
- Identify and flag freight bills requiring special delivery instructions to prevent delivery issues.

Support & Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with cube and reweigh tasks, ensuring that freight weight and dimensions are accurately recorded and monitored.
- Provide backup support for data entry, report generation, and operational tracking as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall logistics and freight management objectives.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in TMW Systems or equivalent transportation management software is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Word for logging data, generating reports, and analyzing freight trends.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy to ensure efficiency in data entry and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the transportation, logistics, or freight industry preferred.
- Additional certifications, such as CITT (Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation), Business Certificate, or industry-specific training, are an asset.
